Black & Tan

The Black & Tan name was first recorded in 1889. A savory blend of both Guinness Stout and Bass Ale are typically used. Mixed together they produce a delicious drink that is desirable and fun! Because of the two different densities in beer they are able to be layered over one another. This is a captivating sight to see!

Your friends and guests will be amazed the first time they see this layer drink. As the Glass is tipped to the side to take a sip, the heavier beer slides through the lighter beer mixing the two while you drink. Giving you the best of both worlds! As you set the glass back down the two beers will remain seperated.

Pouring the perfect Black & Tan Anybody can learn to make a Black & Tan with a little practice. Fill the glass half full with Bass Ale. Hang the pouring spoon on the side of the glass.
